Power Factor and Conversion Formula between VA and W

Conversely, to convert W to VA, we can use the following formula:
VA = W / Power Factor
For example, if a system has a real power of 800 W and a power factor of 0.8, the apparent power would be:
VA = 800 / 0.8 = 1000 VA
