a. Throughout the entire process of live oil filtration and degassing, the gas relay circuit of the transformer must be connected to the signal circuit to prevent gas leakage and oil running in the pipeline, causing the oil switch to trip and resulting in a large-scale power outage.

b. The pipelines and joints connecting the oil filter machine and the transformer must be securely tied, with no occurrence of rupture, damage, or gas leakage.

c. For forced oil-cooled and water-cooled transformers, the connected cooler oil pump should not be started, as the excessive oil pump flow can cause the heater of the oil filter machine to rupture.

d. The oil flow velocity should not be too high to prevent the occurrence of live flow phenomena, which can be harmful to the operation of the transformer and personal safety.

e. Oil that is not part of the circulation, such as oil in coolers, oil pumps, and storage tanks, should be released, filtered, and subjected to vacuum treatment before being reused.

When the quality of transformer oil is poor, such as when the breakdown voltage is 30kV or below, and the acid value exceeds 0.5mgKOH/g, regeneration is required. There are generally three methods for oil regeneration: the trisodium phosphate method, sulfuric acid-alkali with activated clay method, and silica gel regeneration method. The trisodium phosphate method has a simple process, requires less equipment, and causes minimal pollution. The comparison of oil quality after regeneration is shown in the diagram.
